Alicanto Floor Lamp is a floor lamp from FontanaArte with an elegant and sophisticated design. The lamp has a contemporary and innovative expression that embraces novelty without deviating from the classic FontanaArte philosophy of focusing on timelessness and durability.

Its name comes from Chilean mythology where Alicanto is a bird said to live in the Atacama desert and that it feeds exclusively on gold and silver. According to the fable, the diet makes the bird unable to fly but its wings shine with golden reflections. Miners could then follow this light in the dark to find gold. The image of this bird, unable to fly, had to be the inspiration of the lamp, which is characterized by an unbalanced forward movement where its curved shape extends the light as far as possible.
