Principal Dining Table is a dining table designed by Bodil Kjær in 1961. The table is distinguished by its simple, clean shapes and repeating angles in the table legs and on the ends of the tabletop. Principal Dining Table is produced today by Karakter using a handcrafted approach in solid walnut or oak. If you select the oak finish, you can choose to have it smoke stained, white stained or clear lacquered.

The Principal Dining Table is part of the Principal series, which was developed by Bodil Kjær as part of an exploration of interior design solutions for the modern home. Besides this dining table, the series also includes upholstered dining chairs.
