Solid Wool Rug Pale Silver is part of a range of wool rugs launched in 2020 by Nordiska Galleriet Rugs. The rugs are produced in collaboration with a family-owned company in India that has long experience in producing rugs. Solid Wool Rug Pale Silver is made of 100% wool and the underside of the rug it backed with 100% cotton. The backing is a type of treatment that stabilizes the dimensions of the rug and extends its life. This treatment means that the carpet cannot be used on floors with underfloor heating because the cotton edges underneath are coated with latex adhesive that can melt and peel at high temperatures.
This version is the Solid Wool Rug Pale Silver, but the same range includes six more colors to choose from. The rugs come in standard sizes of 200 x 300 cm and 300 x 400 cm, but can also be ordered in special sizes and cost SEK 1,750 per square meter. Besides a number of wool mats of various sizes and colors, Nordiska Galleriet Rugs also has rya rugs. Each Nordiska Galleriet rug has a handwritten label.
