Swedish brand Ogland was established in 2015 and has already attracted a lot of attention for its premium organic clothing. The story began with a clear but difficult idea: to create the world’s finest lingerie while maintaining a strong focus on quality, design, sustainability, and social responsibility. Ogland does this by picking the best of both worlds and weaving them into something unique.

Swedish designer Emma Hedberg works with cotton farmers and producers in Egypt to find the very best materials for Ogland’s designs. Ogland uses only 100% biodynamically grown Egyptian cotton with a thread count of 600 TC. The cotton has Extra Long Staple (ELS) fibers. This makes for a very strong and durable cotton fabric that feels soft and supple against the skin.

Emma Hedberg designs Ogland’s bed linen collections. Emma challenges traditional sewing, focusing on the direction and changes in the cotton fibers and highlighting design details to create beautiful and timeless bedroom furnishings. The design is classically modern and draws on the soft and pliable cotton fabric. Ogland’s products are uniquely certified by Fairtrade, Gots and Demeter which means that the cotton is grown using the purest processes and methods available, so as not to harm our environment but instead to enrich the soils. Fairtrade labelling ensures that everyone involved in the production of Ogland’s cotton has fair working conditions.
