Allegro Ritmico is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Atelier Oï in 2007. The design is based on the meeting of two different forms that intersect to create an open, three-dimensional structure with a distinct graphic expression.
The many lines form a complex yet airy volume in which geometry and light interact. When the lamp is switched on, the different layers of the construction are highlighted, creating varying effects of light and shadow in the surrounding space. In this way, Allegro Ritmico functions as both a light source and a spatial graphic element, with an expression that changes depending on the viewing angle. Allegro Ritmico is available in two dimmable versions: one for replaceable light sources and one with integrated LED. The version with integrated LED can be dimmed via PUSH or DALI, allowing the light to be adjusted using a momentary push button or the lamp to be connected to a compatible lighting control system.
