Chouchin 3 is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Ionna Vautrin in 2011. Its form draws inspiration from traditional Japanese lanterns and has a compact, softly rounded expression. Chouchin 3 is the smallest model in the series and is distinguished by its characteristic grey shade.
The lamp is made of blown glass, which envelops the form and gives it a soft, cohesive appearance. The simple silhouette places the material and proportions at the centre, while the reference to Japanese lanterns gives Chouchin 3 a distinct identity. The pendant lamp can be used on its own or combined with several lamps in a larger composition, for example together with other models from the Chouchin series. Chouchin 3 is available in two versions with dimmable LED: one with a replaceable E27 light source and one with an integrated LED. The version with integrated LED is compatible with PUSH and DALI dimming.
