The aim of the Pyramid Table from Danish HAY was to create a flexible and at the same time substantial table, both in form and function. The Pyramid Table, together with the Result Chair, was originally designed by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld in the 1950s who were working at Ahrend at the time. When they were launched in the 1950s, they were received as very innovative with their clean and clear shapes and the combination of the different materials.
