Grammoluce is a table lamp from the Italian brand Martinelli Luce. The model was designed by Min Dong and Habits Design and combines lighting with an interactive function where the intensity and color temperature of the light are affected by the weight placed on the lamp's elastic Lycra® membrane.
The table lamp is equipped with a dimmable LED light source with dynamic white light and comes with three borosilicate glass spheres weighing 0.3 kg, 0.7 kg and 1.3 kg. By placing one or more spheres on the membrane, both the brightness and the tone of the light change, from a warmer and softer glow to a stronger and cooler light.
The base is made of lacquered aluminum while the structure consists of borosilicate glass. The included holder for the glass spheres is produced in PaperStone®, an FSC®-certified material made from recycled paper and plant-based PetroFree™ resins, free from formaldehyde and VOC. Natural pigments contribute to UV resistance and color stability. Each PaperStone® disc also has a special expression, making each lamp completely unique.
