87.36 Random is a cluster pendant light from the lighting brand Bocci. Part of the 87 series, the installation consists of 36 pendants suspended from a white powder-coated canopy with an anchor kit. The pendants can hang from any number of optional suspension points positioned either on or away from the canopy, allowing the arrangement to be distributed across different mounting points. The 87 series is produced through a process that combines sodium bicarbonate with repeated stretching of the glass. This interaction creates a pearlescent effect with numerous small air bubbles embedded within the material. As the glass is stretched and folded, it develops looped forms and a continuous structure. An LED lamp positioned at the top illuminates the trails of bubbles, producing a soft gradient of light through the glass. 87.36 Random brings 36 pendants together in a cluster configuration with flexible suspension placement. Lamps and power supplies are included.
