Medallion Chair

The Medallion Chair from Dagmar is designed by Nils and Eva Koppel. It is an iconic armchair that combines architectural precision with organic forms. The couple are best known as the architects behind several modernist buildings during the 1950s, but their early furniture designs from the 1940s and 50s contain some of the rarest works in Danish design history. Originally launched as Model 190 by Slagelse Møbelværk, the armchair showcases an early interpretation of what would later become the hallmarks of Danish modernism – the characteristic, leaf-shaped armrests and soft, organic lines. The armchair is made of solid oak or walnut with an oiled surface and can be upholstered in high-quality leather. The combination of meticulous craftsmanship and balanced design makes the armchair a sculptural element in both classic and modern interiors. The armchair is made in Denmark and part of Dagmar's legacy of timeless design and uncompromising craftsmanship.
