Monocle Outdoor Modular Sofa is a right-hand module for outdoor use from Belgian Ethnicraft. The sofa module is designed by Jacques Deneef and is part of the Monocle collection, a modular system where several parts can be combined in different configurations.
The construction is made of solid teak and is complemented by cushions for seat and back comfort. The teak is delivered without surface treatment or protective treatment to preserve the natural character of the wood. The cushions are upholstered in 100% polypropylene and filled with quick-dry foam, adapted for outdoor use.
The module can be used as a free-standing right-hand module or combined with other sofa modules from the same collection to create a modular sofa based on the size and design of the patio. The right-hand module functions as a final part in a larger sofa configuration. Clips for connecting are included and hold the sofa parts in place when several modules are combined. For the care and maintenance of the untreated teak, Ethnicraft's maintenance instructions for the outdoor collection are recommended.
