PI wall shelf 35x100 cm

PI is a wall shelf designed by Alain van Havre with the wood’s natural forms and lines and variations at its centre. Its pared-back design combines a simple function with an organic appearance that gives the material’s own character room to show.

The shelf and wall brackets form a cohesive construction with gently irregular shapes and a hand-worked surface. The wood’s grain and natural variations are highlighted rather than concealed. This gives the PI wall shelf a lively and individual appearance. Each wall shelf is finished by hand to preserve the wood’s natural qualities. Variations in grain and texture as well as form are therefore part of the design and make each piece unique. The PI wall shelf is part of the PI collection by Alain van Havre and offers a simple surface for books and personal belongings and decorative objects.
