Maap W3

Maap W3 is a wall lamp from the Italian brand FLOS. Designed by Erwan Bouroullec in 2026 as part of the Maap collection, the model consists of LED light sources mounted on an iron structure with a round metal backplate. The lamp body is made of an ultra-light, durable fiber fabric that is magnetically attached to the frame with large buttons.

The wall lamp is intended to be shaped manually during installation by crumpling the material, giving each piece a unique structure where geometry meets variation. The construction creates a wide, diffused light output that spreads evenly across the wall and contributes to soft illumination in the room.

Maap W3 functions as a surface of light rather than a traditional fixture, making it suitable for living rooms, corridors, or public environments where a larger volume of light is desired. The lightweight, membrane-like surface combined with the stability of metal creates a wall lamp that balances flexibility with a defined form, designed to evolve over time through use.
