Ponny Carafe

Ponny is a carafe from the Swedish company Skruf, designed by Carina Seth Andersson. Made of hand-blown clear glass, it combines function and form in an object that can be used both for serving and as a vase. The carafe is produced by glassblowers at Skruf's glassworks in Småland, where each piece is made using traditional glass craftsmanship.

The design is characterized by soft lines and well-balanced proportions that make the carafe useful in several contexts. According to the designer himself, Ponny is "just as good for juice as for twigs", which reflects its versatile function. As a serving carafe, it is suitable for water, juice and other drinks, while as a vase it works for both cut flowers and decorative branches.

The hand-blown clear glass gives each carafe small variations that occur naturally in the manufacturing process.
