The 870 Cocktailshaker is a cocktail shaker from the Italian brand Alessi. The model was designed by Carlo Mazzeri and Luigi Massoni and was one of Alessi's first projects to be awarded to external designers. Production started in 1986 and the shaker has since become an established part of Alessi's bar range.
The cocktail shaker is made in Italy from 18/10 stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface. It is designed to mix and serve cocktails and other mixed drinks and can be used in the home bar or in professional bar environments.
The model is found in bars around the world and has sold over a million copies.
