Karu Sofa from Dagmar was designed by Gunnar Haimi in the 1940s for the Finnish company Haimi Oy. The sofa is part of Dagmar's Classic Collection and is produced in Sweden. It has a Nordic post-war design language with rounded armrests and well-balanced proportions. The frame is made of solid beech and joined using traditional carpentry techniques. The seat is fully sprung, padded with foam and upholstered in sheepskin. As a three-seater sofa, it is intended for larger rooms where comfort and a sense of material are central. It fits perfectly in living rooms, libraries or larger bedrooms and can be combined with the armchair and stool in the same series for a complete look.
