Rituals 1 is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba in 2013. The lamp is characterised by its harmoniously elongated form and a diffuser in hand-blown glass, whose textured surface gives it a soft, almost plaster-like appearance.
The glass is decorated with fine, narrow lines that create a subtle texture across the surface. When the lamp is illuminated, the light is filtered through the textured glass and diffused softly and evenly throughout the room. The combination of the organic form and textured surface gives Rituals 1 a sculptural expression, both as a standalone pendant and when combined with other forms from the Rituals series.
