Eilersen has created timeless furniture that is not only beautiful to look at but also stands out for its high quality and comfort – traits appreciated by design enthusiasts worldwide.

Jens Juul Eilersen

Born in 1938 in Denmark, Jens Juul Eilersen grew up in an environment where craftsmanship and furniture manufacturing were central. His father, Niels Eilersen, founded the family company Eilersen back in 1895. At the age of 22, Jens began working in the family’s furniture factory, where he quickly became fascinated by the precision and detail of the craft. By observing skilled carpenters, his own ideas began to take shape, and soon he created his first furniture sketches.

With a unique eye for design and function, Jens took on the challenge of modernizing the company’s product range. He renewed the direction and focused on upholstered furniture, especially sofas and armchairs, of which Streamline is a good example. The result was a series of design classics that continue to adorn homes worldwide. Explore sofas from Eilersen and other world-leading brands in our collection.
