GM 3182 Obelisk table

GM 3182 Obelisk is a table by Gehl & Møller, Denmark, combining a calm, sculptural expression with clear architectural precision. The form is inspired by the simple constructions of the Shaker movement, where function and proportion work together without excess.

The round solid wood tabletop features a subtle bevelled edge that creates a gentle visual transition to the distinctive column base. The tabletop appears almost to float above the open structure, where light and shadow create soft contrasts. The expression is graphic and balanced, with an honest construction in which every element is clearly articulated.

The design was created by Gehl & Møller and was presented during 3 Days of Design 2025.
