Climbing Vine Olive is a wool rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. Designed in collaboration with Campbell-Rey, the collection combines the duo’s use of bold color and decorative form with Nordic neoclassicism. The pattern references traditional motifs like the wreath and folded ribbon, paired with ideas drawn from the history of garden design.
A dense green vine winds around the edges of a rich olive background, its outline sharp and graphic. The composition is a modern interpretation of classical decoration, balancing symmetry with natural movement. The rug is hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India, using soft and durable New Zealand wool, with a 12 mm pile height.
Each piece in the collection is GoodWeave™ certified and made in small editions. The scale of the pattern may shift depending on size. The rug fits well in spaces such as living rooms, studies, or bedrooms, where it brings both visual texture and color to the interior.
