Honey is a chandelier from Stilnovo, Italy, designed by Pio & Tito Toso in 2019. The design is based on a modular system in which recurring elements are joined together to create light, dynamic compositions. The modules can be arranged in linear or circular formations, allowing the fixture to be adapted to different rooms and architectural settings.
The undulating diffusers in opaline material create a soft light and produce varying visual effects depending on the viewer's perspective. The modules are made of high-gloss white, injection-moulded polycarbonate, a material choice that creates a uniform and visually lightweight appearance. Integrated topLED light sources with hemispherical lenses widen the light beam and provide a balanced combination of direct and indirect lighting. The light is suspended from thin cables that also function as electrical conductors. The construction keeps the technical components visually understated, allowing the cohesive form and lighting effect to take centre stage. The Honey chandelier features phase-cut dimming, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted with a compatible dimmer.
