Children's Stool NE60

Children's Stool NE60 is a stool from the Finnish brand Artek. The stool was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1934 and is part of Artek's L-leg Collection, based on Aalto's system of standardized L-legs in bent wood.

The stool has four legs that are mounted directly on the underside of the round seat without separate connecting elements. The legs and seat edge are made of solid birch, while the seat core is made of solid birch or birch plywood. The seat is offered in birch veneer, high-pressure laminate, linoleum and various versions with fabric or leather upholstery, with or without PU foam padding.

The stackable design means that several stools can be placed on top of each other in a spiral stack to reduce the need for floor space. The children's stool can be used as a seat, table, storage or display surface and is suitable for homes, public buildings and educational environments. The stool has been in production since 1934.
