Tufty-Time is a modular sofa system from the Italian brand B&B Italia. The series was introduced as a response to the need for flexible seating comfort in modern home environments. The sofa was designed by Patricia Urquiola in 2005 and is based on a base module in the form of an ottoman. To this are added central, corner and end sections with low or high arms. The combinations enable classic sofas, corner sofas, sofas with divan or open island-like solutions for larger rooms. With a design language that alludes to the traditional Chesterfield and capitonnés sofa, but in a contemporary interpretation, Tufty-Time combines classic detailing with modern functionality. The upholstery is offered in fabric or leather and the low seat height and generous depth create a relaxed atmosphere.
