Primitive Weave 3 wool rug

Primitive Weave 3 wool rug is a handcrafted rug from the Franco-Italian brand cc-tapis. Designed by Chiara Andreatti, it is based on a meeting between Moroccan Berber tradition and the geometric design language of early 20th-century Vienna.

The rug is made in Nepal and combines flatwoven sections with areas of varying pile height. This shifting structure creates a pronounced tactile quality and gives the rug a layered yet balanced appearance. The technique is rooted in traditional Nepalese craftsmanship, with each rug knotted entirely by hand.

Primitive Weave 3 is made of Himalayan wool with a cotton weave base. The rug has a density of approximately 60,000 knots per square meter. It is suitable for dry indoor environments and ideal for interiors where material quality, craftsmanship, and design are at the forefront. The collection also includes Primitive Weave 1.
