Esther Smokey Brown 781 Wool Rug

Esther Smokey Brown 781 is a bouclé rug in wool and linen from Kasthall, designed by designer Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg. The rug's expression is based on a particularly curly yarn that has been developed exclusively in Kasthall's factory. The yarn's inspiration comes from the sheep's short-shorn fur and creates a surface that both shimmers and shifts in mottled color. The bouclé technique provides a robust structure with a clear textile depth. The rug is woven in 65% wool and 35% linen in the weft, and the warp consists of 100% linen. With a thickness of approximately 10 mm and a weight of 3000 g/m², it is both durable and comfortable. The rug is offered in several fixed sizes and can be customized up to 600 cm in width. It works equally well in private interiors as in public environments where structure, durability and color tone are crucial.
