AMA500 is a lamp designed by Aino Aalto in 1941. Now it is being relaunched by Artek. It has a steel shade and details made of brass. The pendant lamp is perfect for use above the dining table or desk. Its generous width provides a lot of downward light.
The dark green version of AMA500 has an identical appearance to the lamp that hangs in the library of Villa Mairea. Villa Mairea is a house designed by Aino Aalto together with her husband Alvar Aalto. The building is today seen by many as an architectural masterpiece.
