Dagmar stools & benches

The furniture brand Dagmar was founded in 2014 and has since then recreated classic Scandinavian original furniture from the 20th century for the modern home. Its design language is defined by an elegant and timeless expression, where solid craftsmanship meets high functionality.

Scandinavian modernism emerged through pioneering designers and craftsmen during a golden era between 1930 and 1970. Thanks to their vision, creativity, and skill, Scandinavian design remains relevant nearly a hundred years later.

Timeless Scandinavian design

With in-depth knowledge of the era, both iconic and newly discovered works are selected for the carefully curated collection. The furniture is produced in Denmark and Sweden by skilled artisans with great attention to detail. The expertise that defines the collections has developed over more than a decade of restoring and selling thousands of vintage pieces in the workshops in London.

Heritage & tradition

The Classic Collection includes significant works from the past, reissued for today’s design enthusiasts with the same focus on quality and attention to detail. The signature piece of the collection is the iconic Clam Chair by Arnold Madsen – a unique part of Danish design history with a fascinating background.

Quality lies at the heart of all production at Dagmar. The manufacturing process is defined by uncompromising precision and dedication – values that reflect the ideals and craft traditions of the original designers. By combining timeless techniques with modern technology, future heirloom furniture of the highest quality is created.
