Aplomb Mini is a pendant lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Lucidi Pevere in 2015. The compact design is characterised by a simple and concentrated form, with material and proportions taking centre stage.
The pendant lamp is made of concrete, giving the pared-back silhouette a distinct material quality. The slender form directs the light downwards in a concentrated beam towards the surface below the lamp. The combination of the robust material and the precise, direct light creates a balanced expression with few visual details. Aplomb Mini can be used as a single pendant or arranged in groups to create larger compositions. Its compact size makes it possible to combine several lamps while maintaining the clearly directed light. The result is a concrete lamp in which the simple form, the character of the material and the focused light come together in a cohesive design.
