JG 6558 Coffee Table

JG Coffee Table is a table from the Danish furniture brand Fredericia Furniture. The table was designed in 1962 by Jørgen Gammelgaard and introduced in 1973 after more than a decade of development. The design is based on Gammelgaard's minimalist design language and differs from traditional coffee tables by a construction without four separate legs.

The table is made in Denmark and consists of a sculptural base in solid, recycled aluminum and a glass table top. The base has a brushed surface with transparent powder coating, while the table top is made of 12 mm tempered low-iron glass. The combination of glass and aluminum makes the table's construction clear and gives the low shape an anchored position in the room.

The coffee table has a demountable construction and is delivered unassembled for assembly on site.
