Selandia Round Outdoor Dining Table

Selandia is a round table from Fritz Hansen in Denmark, designed by Danish architects and designers Anders and Lars Hegelund. The table is part of the Selandia series, characterised by soft, gently curved lines and a Nordic design language with subtle French influences. Its expression is elegant and balanced, with a form that evokes long summer evenings outdoors.

The table is crafted from teak and designed for smaller outdoor spaces where flexibility is an important aspect of the setting. The round tabletop can be adapted as needed by folding down one side, creating a compact semicircular table that can, for example, be placed against a wall. When Selandia is not in use, both sides can be folded down for easier and more compact storage. The flexible construction combines practical functionality with the series’ distinctive design language, where the soft curves and natural expression of the teak give the table a light and balanced character.
