Filet is a dessert plate from Gien, France, created to complement table settings with a balanced and thoughtfully considered aesthetic. Its hand-painted decoration offers a subtle expression, making it easy to combine with other tableware collections and create personalised arrangements.
Crafted from earthenware with a diameter of 23.2 cm, the plate is characterised by the natural composition of sand, clay and kaolin, which gives the surface a warm and vibrant appearance. Each piece is shaped and finished in Gien’s own workshops, where the entire process—from material blending to glazing—is carried out according to established artisanal methods. Through multiple firings and a series of carefully executed stages performed by experienced ceramic artisans, every plate develops its own unique character.
