Norr Mälarstrand 01 Dusty White/Black is a wool rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. Designed by architect Andreas Martin-Löf, it is part of the AML Norr Mälarstrand collection. The design is inspired by the Norr Mälarstrand area in Stockholm, where classicism meets modernism, reflected in the rug’s geometric pattern and clear linear expression.
The collection is handmade in limited editions, with each rug crafted with precision. It is handwoven in Bhadohi, India, using New Zealand wool that offers both softness and durability. The cut pile has a thickness of 14 millimeters, creating a distinct surface and strong presence in any space.
As part of Nordic Knots’ range of wool rugs, this model works in living rooms as well as more formal interiors. The Dusty White/Black palette provides a balance between graphic contrast and subtle tonalities. The rug is Goodweave™ certified, ensuring an ethical production process.
