The Ray Floor 1 floor lamp was created in 2006 by Italian architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni for Italian Flos. Dordoni took inspiration from the shape of lighthouses and power poles when he created the minimalist Ray lamp series. The floor lamp has an attractive shape and fits perfectly in the modern home.

The lamps stand is made from steel tubes that have been welded together and have a chrome-plated finish. The lampshade is made from aluminum with several colors and finishes to choose from with a blown glass shade giving the shade its glossy finish. Ray Floor 1 is fitted with a dimmable switch on cable that allows regulation of brightness according to desired needs. The Ray lamp collection is available in a taller floor lamp version, as well as table and ceiling lights.
