Original means that the product was made in the brand's licensed factory based on the designer's vision and sketches. Every detail is carefully considered and contributes to the whole. The materials used are of the highest quality and have been selected for their specific properties and expression. The solid craftsmanship behind each piece ensures that your furniture will last for many years.

Unfortunately, there are many more or less successful copies circulating on the market and it can be difficult to distinguish between genuine and fake copies. Some copies are even sold at the same price as the originals and are very skilfully made, which can fool even a trained eye. It could be a screw that is different, a frame that is bent slightly differently, or a stamp that is missing. A copy is usually cheaper and of poorer quality. A good guideline is that if something seems too good to be true, it usually is!

A piece of designer furniture often has a serial number, sometimes on the frame with the brand logo and/or the designer's signature, sometimes in the accompanying documentation. This varies from brand to brand, so we recommend that as a buyer you contact the brand directly and ensure that a store is an authorised retailer before buying. We are an authorised retailer for all our brands.

We price match all authorised dealers in Scandinavia. The approach is simple - 100% price match means that if you find a product at a lower price at another retailer, we'll match it. All so you can be sure you're always getting a competitive price when you shop with us.

It is a condition that the item is genuine, new, not part of a temporary promotion and that a valid receipt is available. We must be able to confirm that the item has the exact same finish, material, size, etc. Please note that the price includes the corresponding shipping option.

A stock item is an item that is stored at our central warehouse in Jordbro, Stockholm. A stock item is shipped as soon as possible.

Receipt, Brand, Product name, Model name (preferably a picture of the product), Approximate date and place of purchase.

Our online range is larger than what is available in our stores. Contact us to see if the product is available in store.

If you wish to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, if the warehouse has had time to process your order, it is not possible to cancel it. You must make a return once you have received the delivery.

We process returns on an ongoing basis once they have arrived at our warehouse. Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt and acceptance of the return. Once you receive confirmation that your return has been processed, you will be refunded to the payment service used at the time of purchase.

Please note that custom-made goods, i.e. goods ordered specifically for you, are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned. Read more about it in our terms and conditions here.

When ordering with us you can choose card payment (VISA/Mastercard/American Express) and invoice (14 days), instalment or direct payment via Klarna. Please contact Klarna directly if you have any questions about an invoice or payment terms.

Your invoice will be sent to the email address provided by you when placing your order when the order leaves our warehouse. Please note that the email may end up in the spam folder.

The shipping options currently offered are TBD. The package is sent as a postal package or a freight letter, depending on the weight, size and contents of the package.

We offer free shipping for orders over 150 EUR for smaller shipments that can be sent as a letter or a package. For larger shipments, which are delivered by local carrier directly to your home, we offer free shipping for orders over 500 EUR.

If your order contains several items, the item with the longest delivery time will determine the delivery time of your order.

For deliveries outside of Europe, shipping costs and any costs for import and customs fees will be added. These are always paid by the customer.

We are responsible for any damage incurred during transport or delivery to you as a customer. Upon delivery, it is your responsibility as a customer to carefully inspect the packaging and goods for any external or internal damage. Please check carefully that the goods are intact before signing. If the packaging or your goods are damaged during shipping, please make a note on the waybill immediately and report the damage to our Service team (see below). Please note that if you do not report the damage in time, the responsibility is transferred to you as the buyer. Please note that the transport company requires us to show pictures of both the packaging and the damaged goods, so take several pictures and attach them to your notification.

If you have received a delivery that has been damaged in any way, it is important that you document this at once. Photograph the following:

1. Outside and inside the packaging.
2. The delivery note from the carrier.
3. The goods you have received.

Describe your issue and send the pictures by e-mail to our Service Team at help@nordiskagalleriet.com within 24 hours after receiving the goods. This will enable us to help you the best way possible.

Keep the original packaging in which the goods arrived. The product must not be used until further notice.

Your parcel will normally stay with the postman for 14 days before being returned to our warehouse. In the case of unclaimed parcels returned to us, you will be charged a fee of 15 EUR for smaller parcels and 45 EUR for large or bulky parcels, which the carrier will charge back to us as the e-retailer. The fee will be automatically deducted from your refund. If your item is not covered by the right of withdrawal and has not been accepted for return by us, we will contact you to arrange a new delivery of your item.

In order for you to receive your order as quickly as possible, your order will be processed shortly after it has been placed. Your order confirmation will indicate the delivery time at the time of ordering.

You will receive an email with a delivery notification to your email address when your order leaves our warehouse. Delivery will then be handled by your selected carrier.

At the time of ordering you will receive a preliminary delivery time. Please note that many of our suppliers are closed during the summer, which may result in longer delivery times for items not in stock. We always work on the basis of consolidated deliveries, but if you wish to have your delivery split based on what is in stock at the time of order, please contact our Service Team.

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a delivery notification via e-mail along with a tracking link. You will then be notified by text message when your package is available for collection or when you can expect delivery to your home.

Stock items

We provide an approximate delivery time, which means that your delivery may be faster or take longer than expected. Stock items are shipped directly from our warehouse, usually within a few days. If your order contains multiple items, the item with the longest delivery time will determine the delivery time for your order.

Made to order items

Items defined as "made to order" in our range mean that they are made especially for you according to your wishes and specifications. The delivery time for made-to-order goods is provisional and these goods are exempt from the right of return under the Distance Selling Contracts Act. Delivery times may vary between brands, seasons and delivery methods. Summer and Christmas in particular may affect production as some factories are closed for periods. We reserve the right to any delays in production from suppliers beyond our control, but we will always do everything we can to ensure that you, the customer, receive your goods within the time period specified by us at the time of purchase.

We provide approximate delivery times, which means that delivery may be faster, but may also take longer than expected. Once your order has been placed and confirmed by the supplier, you will be contacted by our ordering department with a more specific estimate of the delivery time for your order based on current production.

Yes, according to the Swedish Act (2005:59) on Distance Contracts and Contracts concluded away from business premises, you as a consumer have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the date you received your goods. The goods must then be returned in their original, undamaged packaging in brand new condition. All costs associated with returning your purchase to us are at your expense, this fee is automatically deducted from your refund.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal are specially ordered products that we do not have in stock and that are made to your special wishes. Read more about exceptions to the right of withdrawal in our terms and conditions.

Fill in our returns form, which you can find here, and we'll get back to you with a waybill. The item must be returned in its original, undamaged packaging in a brand new condition.
