Flower Grid Big wool rug

Flower Grid Big is a woven wool rug from the Franco-Italian brand cc-tapis. Designed by Luke Edward Hall for Chateau Orlando, the rug is part of a collection where colour, geometry, and nostalgia come together in a style inspired by the decorative language of the 1970s and ’80s.

The collection draws on recurring motifs from the Chateau Orlando universe – grids, stripes, and flowers – and reinterprets them in a textile format using jacquard weaving. This technique, historically used in textile production since the 19th century, is rarely applied in rug-making due to its technical complexity. Each rug is woven by hand in India, using a system where thousands of threads are connected to hand-operated looms.

Flower Grid Big measures 230 × 305 cm and is made from 100% cotton, offering vibrant colours and a rhythmic structure. It acts as a graphic element in interiors where both colour and form are meant to stand out – for example, in living rooms, larger entryways, or open social spaces.
