Feather Nuthatch 803 Wool & Linen Rug

Feather 803 Nuthatch is a tufted rug from Swedish Kasthall. The rug is designed by Ellinor Eliasson and is distinguished by a surface where wool and linen bouclé are combined with fringes inspired by feathers. A layered pattern runs along the outer edge of the rug and forms a softly framed border, where the different structures of the materials create variation and depth in the surface. The color scheme draws inspiration from nature and bird life, and the color 803 Nuthatch is part of this expression.

The rug is made with a pile of 60% wool and 40% linen, a base of polyester and a back of polypropylene. The combination of wool, linen bouclé, fringes and varying surface structures gives the tufted rug a tactile and sculptural character.
