Porthole Mirror is designed by Willo Perron for Nordiska Galleriet (NOGA) and is part of a larger collection based on the idea of modularity. The collection includes six tables and two mirrors in different sizes, which can be combined in several ways.
The mirror works equally well as a standalone object or in a group over a larger surface. Each mirror is carefully handcrafted by skilled craftsmen in fiberglass, which is first cast in molds and then manually polished repeatedly to achieve a high-gloss finish. The entire manufacturing process is done by hand and requires great craftsmanship.
Willo Perron, born in Montreal, is a creative director and designer who has been part of shaping the cultural zeitgeist for the past twenty years.
