Spider ceiling lamp is a ceiling light from the French brand Serge Mouille. Designed by Serge Mouille in 1955, the model belongs to the Formes Noires series, which defines a key moment in twentieth-century lighting design. The fixture features an asymmetrical composition with three fixed arms of varying lengths, mounted on a half-sphere ceiling base. Reflectors at the end of each arm can be positioned horizontally to produce indirect light. The structure is made from steel combined with aluminum reflectors. Brass ball joints introduce a functional detail and create contrast against the black or white finish. The result is a ceiling light that balances directional lighting with a clear structural expression. Spider ceiling lamp is suited for both residential and professional settings, including dining areas, living rooms, and larger open interiors where controlled light distribution is required. The model is also available with five or seven arms. Each piece is manufactured in France according to the original drawings and issued as a numbered edition with a certificate of authenticity.
