28.5a.1 Armature pendant lamp

28.5a.1 is a pendant lamp from the lighting brand Bocci. Part of the 28 series, the lamp consists of five hand-blown glass pendants arranged on a single armature. Each pendant contains recessed inclusions within the glass and an opaque milk-glass diffuser housing an LED lamp. The 28 series is produced using a glassblowing technique in which air pressure and flow are precisely modulated to create recessed forms inside each sphere. These inclusions capture and diffuse the light, creating individual effects within each pendant. Depending on the selected colour, the glass can combine transparency and opacity or remain entirely translucent. The 28 series is available in 70 colours and includes pendant, wall, floor and table lights. 28.5a.1 brings five glass pendants together in one composition, with light filtered through both the internal inclusions and the milk-glass diffusers. Within the series, the lights can be displayed individually or grouped in clustered and cascading arrangements for different interior settings.
