Mi 435 Anna is a stool designed in 1945 by Bruno Mathsson. A stool is an upholstered chair without a backrest. The Anna stool is made in the classic Bruno Mathsson style. With blond materials such as bent-glued beech, and elegantly split legs with a seat plate with polyether padding. The inward curvature of the seat plate contributes to the comfort of sitting despite the lack of a backrest. Anna is the result of solid, high-quality craftsmanship. The upholstery is available in several different designs, choose between; fabric, leather, sheepskin or cowhide. The Anna stool can also be used as a footstool and matches perfectly with several of Bruno Mathsson's other seating furniture.
Anna is a posthumously published piece of furniture. Just over ten years after Bruno Mathsson's death, the Anna stool was displayed at the permanent exhibition, Studio B3. After the end of the war, Mathsson was incredibly creative and diligent, many sketches left the drawing board but not all of them made it to production. Fortunately, Bruno Mathsson International captured the treasures of drawings and put Anna into production.
