KK44860 is a side table from the Danish brand Carl Hansen designed by Kaare Klint. The table was designed in 1932 and was first exhibited at the Copenhagen Carpenters' Guild exhibition in 1933. The square side table is a clear example of Klint's mathematical approach, where proportions, ergonomics and function are weighed together in a well-thought-out form. KK44860 is characterized by straight lines, carefully selected wood and a discreet expression that highlights the properties of the material. The table is handmade by experienced carpenters and is suitable as a side table in a living room, hallway or bedroom.
Kaare Klint was a pioneer of Danish modernism and his work has had a great influence on subsequent designers such as Hans J. Wegner and Børge Mogensen.
