Telares wool rug Ebony is a handwoven rug from the Spanish brand Nanimarquina. Produced in Pakistan, the rug combines traditional craftsmanship with an experimental approach in which multiple weaving techniques converge within a single piece.
Designed by Nani Marquina, the rug is part of the Telares collection, where variation in structure and density results in an irregular, dynamic expression. The weaving is intentional but non-repetitive, creating a textile surface with subtle movement. Each rug is slightly different in its pattern and composition.
Telares Ebony is made of 100% hand-spun Afghan wool and dyed in a deep black tone with natural variations. The low, dense surface has a strong tactile character without feeling heavy. The rug is suitable for dry indoor environments and ideal for spaces where the material’s presence takes center stage – from residential settings to public interiors.
