Osteria 16 No. 2 Cookbook

Osteria 16 No. 2 is a Danish cookbook from the team behind the popular antipasti restaurants Osteria 16 in Copenhagen. The book contains 80 new recipes inspired by Italian cuisine, with a focus on a few, carefully selected ingredients and dishes served family style – to be shared around the table in a relaxed environment.

The recipes include antipasti, pasta, risotto, polenta, green dishes and desserts. The style is down-to-earth and stripped-down, where every ingredient has its place. The foreword is written by the author and editor Synne Rifbjerg.

Behind the book is chef Morten Kaltoft, trained at the Michelin restaurant Era Ora and founder of the Famo restaurants, and artist Emil Alsbo, who has exhibited at Charlottenborg and Tranen, among others. Together they run Osteria 16 Haderslevgade, Pesce, Spaghetteria and Ravnsborggade.

The book is part of New Mag's range of Nordic cookbooks and is recommended for anyone who wants to cook seasonal Italian food with a Scandinavian twist.
