Drop Chandelier

Drop Chandelier is a ceiling lamp from the Danish brand 101 Copenhagen, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl. The lamp is part of the brand's collection of decorative ceiling lamps where sculptural shapes are combined with industrial materials.

The Drop Chandelier consists of 14 adjustable metal arms with shades in oxidized, plated and perforated metal. Each shade is brushed by hand, giving each fixture an individual expression. The design is inspired by 1950s lamp design but has been updated with contemporary details to create a living object with a rich flow of light. The lamp is designed to create movement and rhythm in the room through its flexible arms and undulating shapes. It acts as a visual hub above a dining table, in the living room or in a spacious hallway where the ceiling height allows.
