Cane-Line outdoor lounge furniture

Cane-Line

Cane-Line is a Danish brand that has established itself over decades as a leading player in the production of furniture for both indoor and outdoor use. The company was founded as a family initiative with the ambition of creating furniture where longevity and thoughtful design go hand in hand, a direction that is today managed and further developed by owner and CEO Brian Djernes. Under his leadership, Cane-Line has grown into an international brand, while the focus on material quality, comfort, and responsible production has remained central.

With a clear design philosophy stating "Life made comfortable," the company strives to combine aesthetics with functionality. By collaborating with prominent designers such as Strand+Hvass, Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen, and byKATO, they have created collections seen at exclusive hotels and resorts around the world, from Sheraton Resort & Spa in Fiji to Clarion Hotel Sign in Stockholm. Their products are characterized by a modern design that balances Scandinavian minimalism with international stringency.

Materials and technical innovation

A central part of the brand's success lies in their choice of materials and technical development. Cane-Line manufactures furniture designed to withstand demanding environments without compromising on expression. Many of their outdoor furniture pieces are made with the self-developed material Cane-Line Weave, a fiber that is both colourfast and resistant to UV radiation. To ensure high comfort and user-friendliness, they often use QuickDry Foam in their cushions. This technology allows the furniture to dry quickly after rain, is water-repellent, and resists mould formation, making them maintenance-free alternatives for the Nordic climate.

The range is extensive and includes everything from modular lounge groups and comfortable outdoor sofas to sunbeds and chairs for the dining area. Whether it is an armchair for a balcony or large dining tables for a spacious terrace, the construction is permeated by solid craftsmanship. The furniture is constructed to withstand large temperature differences and is frost-resistant, allowing it to remain outside for large parts of the year.

A sustainable design philosophy

Sustainability is an integrated part of how Cane-Line works. The company is certified according to international standards for environmental responsibility and working conditions. By creating durable quality furniture with a long lifespan, the need to replace furnishings frequently is reduced, which is a key point in their work for the environment. Their design solutions are flexible and adaptable, allowing individual parts in different furniture series to be combined to create personal and unique furniture.

For those seeking a dining group or lounge set where the boundary between outdoors and indoors is blurred, the brand offers sophisticated alternatives. Here, advanced technology and comfortable materials meet to create relaxation spots where one can unwind. It is design that prioritizes people's well-being and delivers high comfort in every detail, regardless of whether the furniture is placed in a living room or by a pool area.
