In 1951 Finn Juhl designed the Cocktail Bench for Baker Furniture in the USA and is today relaunched by House of Finn Juhl since in 2018. The bench is made of solid wood and is available in two finishes: walnut or oak. Despite its name, the Cocktail Bench can also function very well as a table. Do as Finn Juhl did in his own home and place your art, a candle holder, or a table lamp on the Cocktail Bench. Besides this bench/table, the round Cocktail Table is also available in the same series.

In the 1950s, the United States was experiencing an economic boom. In Hollywood and among the celebrities, cocktail parties became very popular. Finn Juhl was impressed by this newfound American extravagance, which he experienced through his new and influential American friends. This inspired him to design the pieces in the Cocktail series.
