The 19 Outdoors Dining Chair Set of 2, designed by Butterfield Brothers for NINE, is part of the 19 Outdoors collection. The series is inspired by the charity project 19 Chairs. During the Covid-19 lockdown, the design duo designed and made 19 chairs in 19 days in their south London garden. The chairs were then sent to different designers who were challenged to reinvent or redesign the design with an older person in mind. The chairs were then displayed at an exhibition in London and in parallel there was also an online charity auction, where all proceeds were donated to Age UK. The furniture is adaptable for different outdoor environments, from small balconies to larger restaurants. These dining chairs are made of powder-coated aluminium.
