The 19 Outdoors Stool, designed by Butterfield Brothers for NINE, is part of the 19 Outdoors collection. This stool is made of powder-coated aluminum and inspired by the brothers' charity project 19 Chairs. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Butterfield Brothers took the initiative to design and produce 19 different chairs in 19 days in their garden in South London. These chairs were then sent to 19 artists and designers with the task of redesigning them with the needs of older people in mind. The results of this project were exhibited at an exhibition in London and contributed to an online charity auction where the proceeds were donated to Age UK.
