Tacchini
The Italian design brand Tacchini was founded in 1967 by Antonio Tacchini in Brianza, Italy. It began as a carpentry workshop but gradually developed into an internationally recognised brand. More than half a century later, the same values live on, rooted in craftsmanship, innovation, uncompromising quality and carefully selected materials.
Italian designer furniture & iconic reissues
In the early 2000s, when Giusi Tacchini – today the brand's CEO and Creative Director – joined the company, collaborations with internationally renowned designers began.
About a decade later, the Babela chair, designed in 1958 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, was reissued. This marked the beginning of Tacchini's reissues, through which the brand breathes new life into iconic works from design history.
The reissues, together with entirely new designs, form an eclectic collection characterised by a refined combination and subtle balance between formal rigour and poetry, sophistication and simplicity, restraint and boldness. The result is exclusive design created with great respect for tradition while remaining open to innovation.
Craftsmanship, uncompromising quality & carefully selected materials
Tacchini's philosophy is based on the conviction that style is not solely about form, but also an attitude and an approach to craftsmanship. The brand has therefore always valued local resources, as well as the knowledge and accomplished craftsmanship found in Brianza.
