Tangent Rectangular dining table

Tangent Table Rectangular is a rectangular dining table from the Danish brand dk3, designed by Anne Boysen in 2025, where architectural precision meets a soft, sculptural expression.

The design is based on tangential arcs that merge into a cohesive whole with a deliberate asymmetry. The tabletop consists of wide solid wood planks running lengthwise, creating a calm and balanced impression. The gently rounded edge enhances the sense of lightness and gives the table an almost floating appearance. The base is composed of two contrasting volumes: a softly curved panel and a more monolithic form, both crafted from solid wood and finished with subtly rounded edges towards the floor. Together, they create a visual tension that changes depending on the viewer’s perspective. Tangent Table Rectangular can be complemented with extension leaves at either end, providing seating for more people while preserving the harmonious character of the design. The result is a rectangular dining table with a distinct material presence and carefully refined proportions.
